Just saw Telefon Tel Aviv in Paris. Amazing! I hadn't heard any of their work before and my friend had just been turned on to them so we went to check them out. Amazing venue, so intimate. It played at the Batofar on the Seine river. The Batofar is a boat with a huge light house on top of it. THe concert took place inside the boat. They started out strong and due to a power shortage they were forced to reboot in the middle fo their set but they were so funny, not being able to speak French and they picked up right where they left off. The audience was full of many nationalities, I'm surprised that it wasn't a packed house. I'm glad that it wasn't though, being able to be so close and see them create their music made the show so much better.
